400 Not Out

To date, this school year alone, more than 400 school staff have attended dyslexia training events organised and presented by Dyslexia Awareness. We believe that this success reflects our commitment to quality and the feedback we receive supports this. Having cleared our waiting list, we are now in a position to resume taking bookings for the more comprehensive dyslexia screening test. This test is available from only £25 for adults and children and the appointment at the Sheffield office will take approximately one hour. More training dates have been made available due to the interest created by our initial training seminar. This was attended by a range of individuals who represented schools, community education, adult guidance and other training organisations. Dyslexia Training

Dyslexia Awareness are presenting a training package for parents, school staff and other interested professionals. The training will be held over two sessions on the evenings of Tuesday 13th & Thursday 15th of June. Each session will last approximately two and a half hours. Due to the amazing take up of our free Dyslexia screening offer, the offer has now closed. It had been anticipated that the number of free tests available would last for several weeks. Dyslexia Awareness - Sheffield centre will open officially on Monday 3rd April. The office is based at Cherrytree and is accessed off Union Road. This will provide the base for conducting the initial free consultations and also for supervising those on an office managed sensory integration programme
