(Discount available for non-profit organisations)

Quality dyslexia training sessions are available throughout the UK for individual staff or the teams of businesses and other organisations such as Local Authorities & charities etc

A typical training session (session content can be varied to meet your specific needs)

DYSLEXIA & DYSPRAXIA in the WORKPLACE

The issues’ regarding dyslexia & dyspraxia in the workplace fall largely into three general areas:

i.                    Legal (The Disability Discrimination Act)

ii.                  Performance (of the individual & organisation)

iii.                Service provision (accessibility to end users)


Our session
Begins with a brief overview of each of these areas before considering in greater detail the identification (symptoms) of these difficulties & the steps (reasonable adjustments) that can be made to alleviate these issues.

The cost to book one of our sessions for up to 20 of your staff is only £350 + travel costs
The cost for individuals to attend one of our sessions at our Sheffield Centre is only £95 (inc. buffet lunch & refreshments)

The day typically consists of:
  • 9.30-9.45 Arrival & refreshments
  • 9.45-11.00 identification (symptoms & difficulties associated with dyslexia/dyspraxia)
  • 11.00-11.15 refreshments
  • 11.15-12.30 Potential issues in the work place (employer/employee/service users’ perspectives)
  • 12.30-1.15 Lunch
  • 1.15-2.30 Reasonable adjustments in the work place
  • 2.30-2.45 refreshments
  • 2.45-3.30 client services review
  • 3.30-3.45 Feedback
